Zorin OS 15.2 Core Overview | Distro Delves S2:Ep13
In this episode, we'll be looking at Zorin OS Core 15.2, an Ubuntu-based distribution released on March 5th, 2020.
ZorinOS is an interesting distro, being based on Ubuntu and consisting of several different versions. I looked at Zorin OS Core in this review but I am also interested in seeing what Zorin OS Lite has to offer.
Zorin OS ships with Gnome 3 with a customized panel, possibly just Dash to Dock with some custom styling. Zorin has a few custom apps, an appearance customizer, and Zorin Connect which seems to be a bridge similar to KDE Connect.
ZorinOS claims to be a "beginners Linux distro" but based on the issues I had with it and the lack of welcome app, I wouldn't recommend it to Linux newbies.
