Story
-----

- Your pirate crew lands on a new island. The captain names it Zuleaine Island because he thinks it sounds cool. Your captain tasks you to explore it a bit and return with information. this starts the tutorial
- the tutorial is 3 paths with different obstacles leading to a pet
- At the end of each tutorial path will be an egg that hatches in front of you or newborn that was cast out/ abandoned or one that is trapped. After getting the pet you fight a corrupted crew member

- Then you head back to your ship to report and have the crew member rest. The crew is gone and so is the captain. You decide to wait. Fade to an animation specific to the pet you got from the tutorial. Then you decide its been too long and venture off into the island. A new path is open to the rest of the island and the tutorial paths are closed. The Island is like an open world where you can go anywhere but there are specific places you need to go to unlock the final place.

- The Island is filled with monsters, natives and corrupted crew members. Your task it to find the 4 top ranked crew members and beat them. Then the path to your captain will be open.

- Each person defeated on the island will tell clues of what is going on and each of the 4 top crew members will explain where and what has happened to the captain

- battle natives will bring more story to the island and battling crew members bring more story to the ancient beast. Corruption is a tentacle beast like Cthun and Life Bringer is a white stag. Life Bringer can see the outer of everyone while Corruption can see the inner

- the natives will tell you of a god, a strong beast that ruled the island. the stories are passed down word of mouth so no one knows the true origin of all these monsters but they say there were two that are stronger than them all and lived longest. these two are like yin and yang. one is for life and the other is for death. the ancient corruption had been beaten long ago and trapped but from a recent volcanic activity the cage has been broken and the beast released. Life Bringer is said to be the mother of the herbivores and the Corruption the father of the carnivores. The natives will tell you one side of the story that was passed down from Life Bringer. But the corrupted crew members will tell you the truth like memories that Corruption buried deep into his subconscious. The truth being that Life Bring was jealous of Corruption and in a fit of fear, jealousy and rage, Life Bringer attacked and trapped Corruption beneath the Earth. This broke Corruptions heart and the isolation broke his mind. He truly became corrupted.

- So you start off wanting to beat this monster because he is the big bad but you eventually want to free this gentle giant from himself

- your whole crew and captain fell victim to this beast. once you find the captain he used corrupted beasts and once he is defeated and freed, Corruption shows himself forcing you to fight him

- once you beat the beast, the island is thankful but the corruption is going to take time to dissipate. you can battle your top crew members and captain on the ship and they will be sporting their own stronger monsters that arent corrupted. Kind of like your own elite 4. the island can be explored and i will even open up some areas you couldnt access before. legendary monsters will come back to the island/come out of hiding after the corruption is gone for you to battle and catch
- the legendaries are going to have multiple platforming abilities

Ending

- After beating Corruption the chief of the island comes to greet you. he turns out to be the guy selling stuff in your ship. He thanks you and says you and your crew are welcome to stay. The Captain looks at you and says they can leave whenever they want but they might not find this place again so why dont they enjoy it while it lasts. Even bring some monsters with them to start populating the rest of the Earth. So he promotes you to Vice Captain and tasks you with befriending as many beasts as you like for their maiden voyage back

- it will take a while for the corruption to leave the creatures so there will still be corrupted creatures for your to capture. they are stronger in stats but also have great weaknesses if exploited

- when you set off on your adventure again, you will hear roars. this will indicate that there are new legendary beasts and paths to take on the island. The other 2 starter pets from the tutorial will also appear

- the final challenges of the game is to collect all the creatures and battle the crew members once again in a tournament style but this time they will have even stronger, non corrupted creatures
