15"R-Type" was published in 1988 by Electric Dreams Software out of the UK. It was programmed by Bob Pape. This is an astonishingly good conversion of the arcade game for the Spectrum. Unfortunately for me, I was not able to get very good at it in twenty-five minutes. I really would have liked to get to the first boss. Alas, it was not to be. Maybe another time.
