BFCA (Battlefield Combined Arms) is a multiplayer mod with limited single-player support.

Started in April 2007, it features AAS (Advance and Secure), like Joint Ops, requiring players to capture control points in order. This prevents sneaky base captures and keeps gameplay tactical.

BFCA is a "Reality Light" mod—no crosshair unless aiming, realistic weapon stats, bullet gravity, and deadlier vehicles. Most weapons and vehicles have custom realistic sounds.

Soldier voice lines have seven variations (default is two). Over six months went into auto-triggered and player-triggered COMROSE sounds.

Many models were created by top contributors.
