About Video Games On Location
How is the real world represented in video games? We take a look at video games from across the years (modern & retro; PC, console, & arcade) to understand how real world locations are represented. Are the representations realistic, based on stereotypes, loosely inspired by the real world, or even entirely fictional?
For the purposes of this channel, a location has to be playable in some sense: simply mentioning a location or having a character from that location is not sufficient. (Of course, some exceptions might be made.)
Right now we are focused on games set in CANADA.
