007: The World is Not Enough Early Prototype Playthrough: Part 1
A Playthrough of an early build of 007: The World is Not Enough on the Nintendo 64. This is played on Bizhawk, not on a real console.
This is a really interesting build: There are tons of differences from the final game, Looking almost nothing like the Final game in many areas. It's also buggy as heck: Since this is the build that wasn't playtested very well (I think).
And here are a few differences from Final:
- Upon booting up, you are met with a password screen before you can play this build (DRM Much?). This is not in the later prototype build and the final game. To get past the password screen on startup: press left, left, right, right, left.
- When the Expansion Pak is installed, "Gfx To Be Done" appears on the top-left of the screen when it gets to the "Memory Expansion Detected" screen.
- 3 Publisher Logos are placeholders as 1-3 have the "To Be Supplied" text on them. Only the Eurocom Logo appears just like normal.
- The Main Menu looks Completely different.
For the rest... Well, just watch the video and see how many differences you can point out.
