I installed the Comptech short throw shifter in my 2006 TSX today, and wanted to share the difference. Now I"ve had like 5 or 6 older Hondas with short shifters and absolutely LOVE how they feel, they're a cheap mod that you get to use all the time. This shifter does not change the height, but it shortens the distance between the gears by about half I would say. Very noticeable, especially because it's a mile from 2nd to 3rd stock.

If you are on the fence about this, I recommend it. It took me a few hours from start to finish, I could do it faster next time as this was my first time on a TSX. I would advise you need to be fairly mechanically inclined to take it on yourself. Here's a link to the shifter:

I did take the opportunity to clean all my interior pieces and also put in white shift and ebrake boots, which I got off ebay, they're for another car so I had to trim them to fit but it looks all right. The knob is from Twisted Shifterz, they have tons of cool products so check them out!
