The Innocent verdict granted by the judge should have meant the end of the case, but Yagami is not so certain that Captain Hamura is entirely innocent. In fact, while he does not believe he is the Mole, he believes that Hamura is in league with him. But he must find proof in order to confirm his suspicions, which means revisiting the crime scenes of the previous two victims. Easier said than done, especially when those who should be allies insist he leave well enough alone.
