On May 19, 1999, there was a historic movie release that changed the Star Wars fandom forever. Star Wars Episode 1: The Phantom Menace was the first time the galaxy far, far away's timeline was opened up beyond the movie and immediate post-war eras. The prequel trilogy paved the way for a lot of Clone Wars and Old Republic era content. To celebrate the 25th anniversary, I wanted to continue collecting character costumes in the fan-made fighting game Star Wars Force Combat which features characters from both the Legends and Canon continuities (which are generally incompatible with each other but makes for a more epic roster of characters!) I decided I want to collect all the Easy costumes before moving on to dedicated grinds for each character, but even on Easy the final boss Emperor Palpatine proved to be extremely difficult at my lack of fighting game skill level, so I learned a more defensive version of button-mashing strategy. Hopefully it will work for at least a few characters moving forward so we can repeat the success we had with Ahsoka on the previous stream. I still haven't figured out how to unlock the secret characters.
