Gameplay : Le jeu se rapproche des Zelda 2D en terme de gameplay mais avec moins d'item. Le jeu met davantage l'accent sur l'univers et l'histoire contée. Cependant, le jeu propose deux personnages contrôlable et l'alternance entre les deux se fait instantanément afin de profiter au mieux des capacités de chacun. Un mini-jeu dans le jeu propose une parodie de Dragon Quest, un rpg classique où le but est de vaincre le Roi Démon en 7 jours.
Univers : Un monde post-apocalyptique ? où, parmi des habitants sous-terrains, une fille, Sam, et son protecteur John, rêvent du ciel bleu du monde de la surface.
