When I first began playing Mugen releases regularly, this release was one of the first I downloaded. Capcom vs SNK is in my Top 3 of 2D fighters. It represents a big time in my life, just having finished college and moving to a much larger city. The Dreamcast traveled with me to many a hotel. When I got stressed, this was the game to take my attention away from the daily grind.
And on that note, loving this series as much as I do, this is so freaking exciting to play! That it was done six years ago is even more incredible.
I have had a bug in me lately with 2D fighters. I first played Street Fighter 2 in late 1991. It's hard to put down. This has been an awesome way to have fun with fighting games again.
