Doom 3 is in my top 5 favorite games of all time ! It mixes hardcore FPS gameplay with horror elements, to create a mind blowing and highly addictive shooting fest ! Having come out 10 years after Doom 2, the graphics were a major upgrade, and obviously the game looked better on PC. The fact developers were able to pull this game off on the original Xbox is just unbelievable ! While the game was split into smaller levels, and some sections were removed, overall it's basically the same experience as on PC !

This version of the game holds a special place in my heart as it was on the Xbox I discovered the game. I also played this game to death of Xbox 360, but this version does have at least one advantage over that later port of the game. The light torch cannot be attached to guns, making it more like a survival horror game, as you panic while switching from the torch to the gun !

This is easily one my favorite games on the original Xbox and I'm delighted it now works great on Xemu !

09/03/25 : Until recent updates sound issues made it unplayable, there were also some glitches in certain lighting effects, but now these issues have been fixed and the game works perfectly !
