This is a game I discovered only recently and was very impressed ! It plays like a kind of chess game : you move various units around a grid board, in order to knock out enemy units. Obviously strategy is the most important aspect of this game, and how you manage your army units individually, which gain experience and strength during battles.

There are a total of 39 different characters to collect (I think), that can either be soldiers, cavalry, archers, mages, etc but also humans that can transform into animals ! Each have their specific class, weapons they can use, special attacks, squares they can move etc. Collecting them was addictive and also adds an extra level of strategy to the missions !

Although there are some very nice cut-scenes, the story is mainly told through RPG style text interactions, and while the story is pretty good, you can skip these conversations with a touch of a button, to jump straight into the action !

While not for everyone, for me this is an easy 10/10 and I can't wait to play its sequel on the Wii !
