Description:
There are some very obvious similarities between the world of professional wrestling and the world of comic books. The babyfaces of the wrestling world are the equivalent of the good guys and the heels of the wrestling world are the equivalent of the bad guys. Moreover, some of the feats of strength, agility and durability demonstrated in the wrestling ring are tantamount to superhuman; Lifting 500lb giants up and slamming them into the mat, taking leaps off the top of steel cages, and receiving blows from sledgehammers and continuing to fight, for example. There have even been wrestlers with superhero gimmicks - look at The Hurricane and Mighty Molly for example - but what if wrestlers were actually superheroes? Which ones could they be?
