This video features another start to finish walkthrough of my portrait painting process. Most of the discussion centers around mixing dark colors and how to show bright highlights where light reflects. Much of the dark color blend compares mixing different browns (burnt vs raw umber) and blues (ultramarine vs phthalo) to get variants of "near black" colors. I've got quite a few of these walkthroughs now, ranging from 2 minutes to 20 minutes. This one is in the middle, at just over 10 minutes - I'll link the rest of the collection below.
