10) FPS COUNTER
If you would like to enable this option,
Just click on the steam menu option
Then from here click on in-game and at the bottom it should say in-game fps counter, from here you can select the position you want the counter to be in.
And the next time you open up a steam game, you will be able to see your in-game fps.

8) UPGRADE GRAPHICS CARD DRIVERS
If you would like to use this handy tool then,
Just click on the steam menu option
Then from here click on check video driver updates
and it will automatically detect which graphics card chip you have amd nvidia etc, and it will take you to the correct webpage where you can download the latest drivers.


7) BUILT IN MUSIC PLAYER
To add songs open up steam and click on the steam menu and select settings.
From here select music.
Now click on the add button and find the location where you save all of your dank tunes and click on select.
To play your music hover over the library menu and select music.
And from here you can choose whichever song you wish to listen to.

5) DOTA 2 = FIRST STEAM GAME TO REACH 1 MILLION PLAYERS
The first game to ever reach 1 million concurrent players on steam was dota 2 back in february 2015.

At this point in time in march 2017, steam has over 13,000 steam games on its platform. That's only the games we can see, there are possibly thousands of games that are hidden on steam as well which will only bring the number up even higher if they were all public.

According to valve steam is availble in 237 different countries around the world and available in 21 different languages.


2) THOUSANDS OF PRODUCTS OVERALL
At this point in time in march 2017, steam has over 25,000 products in total on its platform. This includes games, software, demos everything. And again thats only the products we can see.


1) GABEN WAS A MICROSOFT EMPLOYEE
Gabe Newell worked at microsoft for 13 years, he helped develop windows 1.0, 1.01 and windows 1.02. And he then quit before the release of windows 1.03. He left microsoft so that he and another microsoft employee Mike Harrington could establish valve in 1996.
