10/27 || Wizard Chores With Chat || Whisper of the Worm
0I think this is the second Destiny stream that will go public, but in case you haven't realized, I've been playing a bit too much Destiny with folks in chat. On this particular stream we decided to take advantage of the Weekend to run through a.....secret is probably the wrong word, a minorly obfuscated quest.
See during weekends in Destiny 2 since the Warmind Expansion the planet Io has had a fun little special quest. When public events spawn in the Lost Oasis area, they also spawn a special Taken, the aspect of either Hate, Darkness or War, and if you kill them a portal opens. I took LosttheGame and FayeinSays with me into that portal...three times I think?
First you have to platform through some awful vex madness with occasional taken snipers ruining you day. That usually ate up 5 to 10 of our 20 minute allotment to get through. From there we needed to take out 3.5, there's a weird gap room in between 1 and 2. Room 3 however is the trick because on top of waves of taken we also needed to take out hard version of the three Aspects, Urzok, the Aspect of Hatred, a taken Knight, Drevis, Aspect of Darkness, a taken Captain, and Ta'urac, Aspect of War, a taken Centurion. And eventually, we did actually manage it!
After we ran some gambit with TenthTechpreist and even a heroic level Ordeal, yeah that was a bad idea.
