He puts us through a dimension where the events of the disaster of the original world follows, where the void sent invaded the world.
When finally facing him, our party gets knocked out and we are about to lose our consciousness. But Ardbert land sus his Axe. With one push, we walk and walk, the light not overtaking us. In the end, the Crystal Exarch awakened, using his power to summon warriors of light from the other worlds. In order to combat us, Emet-Selch uses his powers of darkness to transform in his true form, wielding many faces. In the end, using our light against his dark allowed us to us all of that power to defeat him, ridding ourselves of the light and saving the first world once and for all.
