Lots of running around tonight, started the main story as well as joined the Imperial side of the civil war. Took a short detour to aquire the Bow of Shadows as well.

Can I mention something about the siege of Whiterun? Why is it that in EVERY playthrough either my wife, or one of my children end up in the fight on the wrong side???
