You know that whole dawn time limit thing? Yeah, it's not a good mechanic. Not in the least. I'm sure that it's perfectly possible to not hit the time limit, but there's not really a whole lot of reason to care. I don't even think there's an achievement for doing it, and it basically just starts you back at the beginning of the last area you were investigating if you spend too much time.

It's pretty much just an annoyance, and not a well done one.
