Everyone has mentally collapsed, leading to a Bad End. I don't think there's any saving it. It's time to fix everything, and see what we can do to end this killing game once and for all.

It's just about time for the standard fight of Hope vs. Despair to happen, but we're short one side's representation, and Shuichi has completely given up. It's time for a perspective shift or five, and maybe we can find a way to convince everyone that the killing game needs to end.

And from what I've seen, I'm far in the minority here, but I actually do like this ending. A lot of people think this is the developers throwing shade at the audience, but I'm not seeing that. I mean, the whole idea is a pretty standard trope, having the world be peaceful because they have a really, really bloody spectacle they all enjoy. I see this ending more as Kodaka throwing shade at people that use the trope without showing respect to the characters they have to create to make it happen, more than anything.

So, what do I think about V3 overall? It's a solid game. There are a couple of moments that really should have been thought through a bit better, and the sheer amount of fanservice was, frankly, embarrassing to see...I mean, these are high school aged girls getting shown in their underwear, after all. But, this is, in my opinion, the strongest cast of all three main series games, and that is generally the major focal point in this series.
