"Dynami Tracer" is a unique and sci-fi adventure game developed by Squaresoft in 1996 for the Satellaview. "Dynami Tracer" invites players on a time-limited journey across multiple (tiny) worlds (some very), each with its own secrets, puzzles, and inhabitants. Known for its experimental design, the game combines elements of JRPG style town exploration with puzzle-solving, setting it apart from other Squaresoft titles of the time.
In "Dynami Tracer," we step into the shoes of an intergalactic treasure hunter on a mission to locate valuable artifacts scattered across various worlds. While we explore imaginative worlds, the game’s timer steadily counts down, adding pressure as we gather clues, interact with NPCs, and piece together each world's mysteries. As an exclusive Satellaview release, "Dynami Tracer" does a good job of adding much replayability to the small games that could be done with broadcast gameplay.
