Playing through 1941: Counter Attack on the Sony PlayStation 4 as the Lockheed P-38 Lightning. Despite the title sounding like a prequel, it's the third game in the 1940 Series. This time, Player 1 controls the P-38 while Player 2 controls the de Havilland Mosquito. Players can gather new weapons each having their own strengths and weaknesses. Instead of the fuel gauge, the game uses a life units which are used to stay alive or else it's game over. Players can also touch walls as that causes the planes to attack in 360 degrees.
Canon wise, could this be the very first episode of the 1940 Series?
