3This is a 1 credit clear (Getting to the highest rank = Black Belt) of International Karate made by System 3 in 1985.
Another absolute banger from my childhood, and another one of my favorite games for Commodore 64. This was probably the BEST fighting game available till Street Fighter II: The World Warrior came out.
This game is very competitive and player 1 and player 2 have the exact same moveset, so it takes a lot of skill to play this game at a high level. I participated in a tournament in this game a couple of decades ago at The Party 1999, which was a lot of fun.
The CPU is no slouch either. Sure you can do whatever you want in the beginning couple of matches but once you hit Purple Belt it gets extremely difficult and you have to play footsies and setup your opponent for counter attacks.
