2 minute review - Yeah! You Want Those Games, Right? So here You Go! Now, Let’s See You Clear Them
The concept of creating a full game around those satisfying looking fake games you see in mobile ads seemed like a genius idea, especially coming from the developers of classic games such as Katamari and Klonoa. Yet, the execution leaves much to be desired.
The game boasts only five types of mini-games. Each game is incredibly simple and can be played with only a mouse. Each mini-game offers 25 to 50 levels, but quite a lot of the levels are annoyingly easy and feel more like a trudge. And where the challenge to score well requires speed rather than intelligence, the enjoyment can be hampered by the cumbersome controls.
However, the IQ points used to unlock the later levels are shared across mini-games, so progress to the more challenging stages is at least quick.
Despite spending a few hours with the game, it lacks any memorable moments and leaves me with no desire to return for more.
It's disheartening to see a game with such potential fall short of expectations. While it may have been an earnest attempt, it simply feels insubstantial and cheap. If you're seeking quick fun casual gaming, ironically, you're probably better off exploring the plethora of free apps available in app stores.
Overall, I give this game 54 percent.
