Welcome to the Pokemon Black/White Soul Link Hardcore Nuzlocke! Rules and explanation are down below :)

This is a 2-player Hardcore Nuzlocke with our good friend @MarkAlarmTV ! This is going to be pretty different from the rest of the Pokemon stuff we've done before, so please read below if you're not sure what a soul link, hardcore nuzlocke, or our rules are! This series also will feature a "previously on" for the first time ever, so let me know how you like it!


@MarkAlarmTV go follow mark! He's a great creator and also a very good speedrunner, and he deserves all the love :)


Regular Nuzlocke Rules:
1 encounter per route
death is permanent
dupes and species clause
no Legendaries/Mythicals

Hardcore Nuzlocke Additional Rules:
no items in-battle (held items are OK, but no potions/X-items/etc)
no overleveling the next gym leader's ace pokemon; level caps will be on-screen at all times
all battles must be played on set mode



Soul Link Rules:
Each player will play through the game at the same time
All Pokemon (trainers, wild, etc) are randomized!

Encounters in each game's routes are permanently paired together and must do everything together: be boxed together, be in the party together, etc.
If an encounter dies in one game, the thing it is paired with in the other game will also die immediately, or at the end of the current battle if players are in a battle.
