The Obuch is the unique unit of the Poles in Age of Empires II: Definitive Edition - Dawn of the Dukes.
The Obuch is an infantry unit which can tear the armor from the enemy units (but not buildings) by –1/–1 (melee/pierce) per hit (bonus armor classes, such as the Cavalry armor of Cataphracts, are not affected). The armor cannot go below 0, and units with initial negative armor (i.e., rams) do not have their negative armor reduced or increased further; however, if, for example, melee armor has reached 0 while pierce armor has not, the latter will still be reduced by 1 each subsequent hit until it reaches 0, with the former resting at 0. The effect is applied after the Obuch's attack has inflicted damage (i.e., the Obuch attack that lowered the unit's melee armor from, e.g., 1 to 0 will still use 1 armor to calculate Obuch's damage for the said attack).
The only way to revert armor-tearing effect is to fully heal an affected unit.
Obuchs can be upgraded to Elite Obuchs in the Imperial Age.

The Elite Skirmisher is an anti-archer ranged unit in Age of Empires II that can be trained at the Archery Range once the Castle Age is reached. They have an attack bonus against archers and, as opposed to its predecessor, an extra attack bonus against Cavalry Archers. They also have increased hit points, attack power, and pierce armor. This makes Elite Skirmishers more useful against other ranged units even beyond the Castle Age.
The Elite Skirmisher is available to all civilizations except for the Turks.
The following civilizations can fully upgrade their Elite Skirmishers (i.e. gets Bracer, Ring Archer Armor, and Thumb Ring), and have at least one civilization bonus, team bonus, or unique technology that benefits the combat strength of the Elite Skirmisher: Byzantines, Incas, Lithuanians, Mayans, Saracens, Tatars and Vietnamese.
The upgrade to the Imperial Skirmisher is unique to the Vietnamese and their allies.

The Teutonic Knight is the unique unit of the Teutons in Age of Empires II. It is a slow, heavily armored infantry unit with a powerful attack.
Teutonic Knights can be upgraded to Elite Teutonic Knights in the Imperial Age.
