2004 Salt Lake City THQ AMA Supercross Championship Round 15 (WSXGP Round 16)
12This is round 15 of the 2004 THQ 250cc AMA Supercross Championship and round 16 of the 2003/2004 THQ World Supercross GP from Rice Eccles Stadium in Salt Lake City, UT.
Returning stars such as 250cc sophomore Chad Reed, Kevin Windham, defending 125cc MX champ Grant Langston, Mike LaRocco, Ernesto Fonseca, Damon Huffman, Tyler Evans, Heath Voss, Michael Byrne, David Vuillemin and others battle it out for the 2004 THQ 250cc AMA Supercross Championship and the 2003/2004 THQ World Supercross GP. This series is completely dominated by Chad Reed after an ACL knee injury knocks defending champ Ricky Carmichael out of the season. This race is the birth of the BS fuel rule which cost Yamaha's Chad Reed and David Vuillemin, and Yamaha Privateer Tyson Hadsell 25 pts. after Dallas. This race is also well known for Team Yamaha intern, Tom Hofmaster crashing after getting the holeshot in the main. Enjoy.
