2013 Best Performances: #8 Danowski 7 Points in OT Thriller
The Bayhawks and Hounds eventually played each other in the Championship Game, but their first match-up of 2013 was one of the best games of the season, thanks in large part to Danowski. The former Duke star scored four goals, including a pair of two-pointers, helping the game into overtime. In the extra frame, Danowski found Ryan Young who buried the game-winner and the Hounds got the win.
The rest of 2013: Danowski finished fourth in the league in scoring with 49 points. His 33 goals were also fourth, despite him playing in just 12 games. Danowski and Rob Pannell were the only players in the league to score 4.0 points per game or more this season when playing 10+ games. He was also a large reason Charlotte made the Finals, with three goals and two assists during Championship Weekend.
