2013 Best Performances: #1 Law Goes 9 for 9
Rarely does a rookie make an immediate impact to a team in any professional sport, but Major League Lacrosse isn't just any professional sport. After Eric Law's Denver Pioneers were knocked out of the NCAA tournament this past spring, the Colorado native stepped straight into the professional spotlight. Law began his young MLL career with a four of four shooting night over Hamilton, and continued his accurate start going nine of nine before eventually missing his first shot on goal.
The rest of 2013: Law scored 24 goals in just nine games, trailing only Rob Pannell (25) in rookie goal scoring. However, he was only just getting started. In the first game of Championship Weekend, Law put on one of the greatest playoff performances of all-time, scoring nine goals in one game, a new playoff record. Law was one of the most surprising players in 2013, but he will be one of the most followed players in 2014.
