Design
The i30 N has new and unique high-performance exterior design elements, including a more aggressive front bumper, a new cascading grille design, and new LED headlamps with V-shape DRL and black bezel

It features new 19-inch forged alloy wheels for the 280 PS model (18-inch wheels for the 250 PS model) with red brake callipers
The car comes in seven exterior colours, including the signature colour of Hyundai N: Performance Blue

The design of the new i30 N is focused on dynamic performance. Fresh enhancements from the previous model include new LED headlamps with V-shaped Daytime Running Lights (DRLs), V-shaped LED combi lamps at the rear, and a sleek altered bumper dominated by typical aerodynamic side fins, incorporating the air curtains to improve airflow and reduce turbulence. Coming in seven exterior colours, the new i30 N is available in a wide variety of customisable options for drivers’ personalities and driving types. The distinctive N signature is found on the wide centre grille and integrated onto the wheel caps.
Classy interior materials and sporty, dark metal inserts underline the elegant character of the i30 N and its affiliation with motorsport. The seats come in one tone: Black with full cloth or artificial suede and leather. N Light Seats with leather and Alcantara® are optional. The design focus of the new i30 N’s interior lays aims to connect the driver with the car at all touch points. For the first time, the new i30 N is also available with optional N Light Seats.
Powertrains
The new i30 N engine line-up starts with the four-cylinder 2.0-litre T-GDI turbo engine with a power output of 250 PS
It is available with a new 8-speed dual clutch transmission (N DCT) for the first time, resulting in enhanced acceleration
The N DCT gearbox comes with new N performance functions for an even sportier experience, including N Power Shift, N Grin Shift and N Track Sense Shift
The new i30 N comes with a four-cylinder 2.0-litre turbocharged engine with either a six-speed manual transmission (6MT) or a new eight-speed dual clutch transmission (N DCT). The N DCT enables three new N performance functions for an even sportier experience: N Power Shift, N Grin Shift and N Track Sense Shift.
With the standard trim, the new i30 N with 6MT delivers a maximum power output of 250 PS and a maximum torque of 353 Nm. New i30 N customers can also select the Performance Package option, which comes with a 280 PS engine and flat power.
As with its predecessor, the new i30 N is equipped with a range of high-performance driving features including Rev Matching, Launch Control, optional rear stiffness bar, and more.
Ride and Handling
The new i30 N features all new suspension settings, including -1.5 degree negative camber, lightweight rims, new dampers, new springs, new bump-stops, and an adjusted kinematic layout
It comes with an Electronic Controlled Suspension (ECS) and Electronic Stability Control (ESC)
The new i30 N features an Electronic Controlled Suspension (ECS). Along with the suspension, the steering system has been retuned to match a refined performance for both transmission types. Customers can select the Performance Package and benefit from the N Corner Carving Differential, an Electronically Controlled Limited Slip Differential (eLSD), and an increased brake disk size for an even better braking performance.
