At first glance, the DB12 isn't all that different from the DB11, one of the best-looking GTs ever. There is a larger grille, a dramatic hood vent, as well as new headlights, bumpers and side skirts. Aston insiders insist that 80 percent of the car is new. The Aston Martin DB12 is fundamentally based on the DB11 with the same structural rigidity and powertrain. The combined aluminum body structure is seven percent stiffer overall, while stiffness in the front strut towers has been increased by 140 percent to improve on-center feel from the electric steering system, which needs just 2.4 turns of the steering wheel....
