The Black Appearance Package is more than just a nod to the shadowy realms of space. It includes a glossy black roof, matching mirror caps, and gloss black fender flares, alongside a glossy blacked-out roll bar. Adding a touch of contrast, the steel bumper, skid plate, and tow hooks are finished in Matte Black. This darker theme is complemented by package-specific decals for the hood and body, rounding out a look that's as bold as it is black.
Priced at $95,925 with the package—added to the Bronco Raptor's base price of $91,930, including destination fees—the blackout model doesn't just make a statement; it screams exclusivity. It's an interesting move at a time when Bronco sales have dipped by 25%, and the entry-level Bronco Big Bend remains a $40,000 proposition. For the moment, the Black Appearance Package is an exclusive offering for the Bronco Raptor.
Ford marked the package's debut with a special event in Texas, coinciding with the total solar eclipse on April 8. The Bronco Off-Rodeo event not only provided attendees with a prime spot to witness the eclipse but also offered a first look at the Raptor's new blackout option. According to Bronco Brand Manager Jason Hyde, the Black Appearance Package is designed to ensure the Bronco Raptor stands out, offering "a look that stands out on any trail and under any sky, even a total solar eclipse." This package embodies the spirit of the Raptor: bold, adventurous, and always ready to eclipse the ordinary.
