2026 Tesla Model Y Juniper Rendered Before Reveal
Tesla appears to be gearing up for a major update to its popular Model Y crossover, as suggested by recent spy photos of camouflaged prototypes. These images hint at some bold changes in the design, particularly at the front and rear, that could give the Model Y a fresh look.
At the front, Tesla seems to be experimenting with a new lighting arrangement. The updated Model Y may feature split front lights, a first for the brand. The daytime running lights are positioned as thin, horizontal LED strips, while the main headlight units are placed slightly lower within the bumper. Although heavily camouflaged, the potential design aligns with Tesla's evolving aesthetic seen in recent models. Over at the rear, a sleek LED light bar spanning the width of the trunk lid is likely to make an appearance. This detail, along with reimagined tail lights, could mirror the styling updates introduced with the revised Model 3 sedan.
The Model Y continues to impress with its versatility and performance. As a mid-size crossover, it offers an optional third row of seating, accommodating up to seven passengers. With a length of four thousand seven hundred fifty-one millimeters, a width of one thousand nine hundred twenty-one millimeters, and a height of one thousand six hundred twenty-four millimeters, the Model Y is well-suited for families. Its powertrain options range from a rear-wheel drive Long Range version, accelerating from zero to one hundred kilometers per hour in six and a half seconds, to the all-wheel drive Long Range model that achieves the same in four point eight seconds. The Performance variant tops the lineup, sprinting to one hundred kilometers per hour in an impressive three point five seconds.
The updated Model Y is expected to debut in the coming months, bringing exciting enhancements to Tesla’s already beloved crossover.
