Colin McRae was a scottish rally driver who become a big star after winning the World Rally Championship in 1995 in the iconic Subaru Impreza and won 25 WRC events in total, a record at the time ! A videogame series in his honor began with this game in 1998. This first game is a rally simulation that was very impressive at the time, both in terms of graphics and physics. It became an instant classic and a benchmark for all future rally games !
