24 HOURS in Super Mario 64's Tick Tock Clock [24 hour Super Mario 64 Speedrun Progress]
I spent 24 hours speedrunning Super Mario 64's Tick Tock Clock level! Here's my progress of speedrunning Super Mario 64 with 24 hours of practice, trying to get a speedrun of Tick Tock Clock as fast as I can!
Tick Tock Clock is often a difficult level for Super Mario 64 players, so I thought I'd try to learn how to speedrun it, putting 24 hours of practice into it :) If there's another level you'd like to see me speedrun, let me know in a comment and make sure to subscribe so you can see the video!
We get all 7 stars in Tick Tock Clock: The Tick Tock Clock 100 coins star is a pretty difficult one, but one of the hardest speedrunning tricks here has to be the triple jump wall kick ledge grab for the Pit and the Pendulums/ Roll into the Cage. Get a Hand and Roll into the Cage were really fun to learn, but the moving parts strategies are incredibly difficult. Stop Time for 8 Red Coins had some difficult movement at first, but after practising 100 coins in Tick Tock Clock a lot, it definitely got a lot easier! Stomp the Thwomp is done with 100 coins in this route :)
This is the Nintendo 64 version of Super Mario 64, using something called the Usamune practice ROM, which allows for level resets, save states, and the ability to show useful information like lag frames, Mario's speed, a timer, and which frame wall kick Mario gets!
For anyone interested in Nintendo 64 vs Nintendo Switch vs other consoles, Drogie has a great video on why many people use the Nintendo 64 for running Super Mario 64: https://youtu.be/8lf3K-QuJdg
