I’ve heard of being your own worst enemy, but this is getting a little ridiculous. With an ever expanding multiverse, the characters we know and love have likely received every possible upgrade, alteration, and makeover imaginable. Sometimes these changes make them weaker, given universes where those characters no longer even exist have been created as well. Sometimes they receive an upgrade in power, and sometimes they become the most powerful being in the universe. Let’s take a look at the Marvel variants stronger than the original, right now.
Have you ever wondered what would happen if the world folded in half, therefore combining several characters' backstories and power sets? No? Just me? In an alternate universe, the world was ravaged by a nuclear apocalypse leaving it covered with little life and tons of gamma radiation. In this reality certain characters benefited in power from this occurrence. In the What If? animated TV show, we saw one of the most powerful versions of Doctor Strange we will likely ever see. All across comics, television and now film we have seen variants of our favorite Marvel characters. Which variant do you think is furthest ahead of their original? Is it the Maestro Hulk, Old King Thor, or maybe even that time that Thanos became the One Above All. There’s likely a version of every character like this out there somewhere, so use your imagination!
