25 Things I Learned At 25
From simple and practical ideas to deeper topics, I've learned a lot in the past year. Since I'm now 26, I feel like chatting about it!
I've made lots of "advice style content" before, but this would be the 100 days version of that! A kind of mega episode. Some of these ideas are fairly basic, like drinking water, but others are deep and complex. I also do not claim to be an expert in anything I say here. This video is purely about me sharing what's worked and made sense for me.
Hopefully someone can get something useful out of one (or more) of these ideas. I know I could have used them. I still need to remind myself of these pieces of advice quite often actually. Anyways, in case you want to follow along, here's the outline that I created for this video!
"25 Things I wish I learned Sooner/ 25 Things I learned at 25" Outline:
1 - Creativity is valuable. Use it more.
2 - Create systems that work for you.
3 - Structure is important.
4 - Learning to be ok with being yourself.
5 - Drink a shit ton of water.
6 - Eat plants and shit. You’ll feel better.
7 - Do any form of physical activity. (Simple stretches can lead to a full workout if you get distracted easily).
8 - Make what you want to make. You are the niche.
9 - Write down every video/creative idea.
10 - Not everything has to be monetized.
11 - Cultivate a content diet that inspires you.
12 - Protect your energy so that you can give more shits.
13 - Say yes to things more often. You never know.
14 - Change shit up. Stagnancy is draining.
15 - Get some sleep every now and then. You can’t run on empty.
16 - Grindset culture will grind you away.
17 - Too much downtime will hold you down.
18 - Do things that you don’t know how to do yet. Because you will.
19 - Journal. It can help keep you centered.
20 - Relax with friends (it’s productive).
21 - Everything is a skill.
22 - Dedicate yourself to something. It doesn’t matter what it is.
23 - Always learn new shit. Useless facts included.
24 - You can’t do everything on your own. Let others help you.
25 - Be grateful for the simplest things. (Chewing, eating, etc)
26 - (Bonus) You are worth the time it takes.
27 - (Bonus) Trust yourself more.
