2.7 Rain Hazard Containment Pt 1: Sympathetic Arousal (Reverse: 1999)
Team: Anjo Nala (R10 / P0), Fatutu (R10 / P0), Flutterpage (R10 / P0), Thirty Seven (R10 + Aspirational / P1), Isolde (R10 + Genuinity / P1)
My first two stages for Containment were chosen "because they were the most annoying stages in Suppression" and they're still really annoying in Containment too.
It's probably not so bad with any of the recent Plant units. As for me? I haven't pulled for a Plant unit since 1.9. My most up to date Plant units right now are Euphoria An-an Lee (who is not a DPS) and Euphoria Bkorn. While Bkorn is still capable of big damage, it's very hard on this specific fight thanks to this boss' mechanics.
The enemies can throw around random Disarms and even Fatutu isn't guaranteed protection if she gets hit with Silence. The boss can also freely dispel all your buffs with their Ult, and you can't completely block the Ult either because of this mode's annoying Stress mechanic. You can waste a lot of AP just cleansing / re-buffing again, which is why I think the 'intended' team for this fight might be Recoleta and the Ult team (since the enemies can't block you from Ult-ing and a good Recoleta team and rotation will be Ult-ing very frequently).
I just want to say that I REALLY hate the stress mechanic on this mode. Why can Stressed enemies ignore CC? It sucks, going out of my way Seal, Daze or Petrify enemies only for them to ignore the CC and Ult anyway. At best it makes this fight really tedious. But I couldn't even do a boring clear of this fight thanks to the round limit, so I had to whip out my Anjo Nala.
I try not to use Anjo outside of Reveries and Voyages, but it's hard not to in recent content like Lucidscape (which isn't really hard, but is designed for very specific characters and teams) and now this mode.
So yeah, we ignored the Afflatus and just went for a full FUA party. I also brought out my semi-retired Isolde. Just because I needed a FUA character I could definitely bench afterwards.
