1. Not just does this older era Himalayan Railway line "Kalka Shimla Railway" safely carry as many people as possible consistently from Kalka to Shimla but it does a wonderful job even after a century and better then the newer road.
2. These railways don't just provide a lifeline despite the smaller gauge (3ft smaller then BG) and coaches but also provide a more beautiful, detoxing (connected by nature) and with Hydrogen ICE (Internal Combustion Engine) zero emission, the new LHB coaches if internal space is made just 8ft in height with same width can make 2nd AC (10 beds per row beds) and perhaps 3rd AC (12 beds per row) using Charpai beds feasible.
3. my stat. maths. experiments and other factors show that this really is a better option if we build more alternate as well as major routes (plus who doesn't want a sleeper route from Kalka to Narkanda via Kufri?)
4. even foreigners come here more then the buses, and modern LHB train so much better, we need more Himalayan Railways and I will talk a lot about TOD not just here but on my channel.
