3. Fatal Frame 4 Mask of the Lunar Eclipse (Hard) Phase 3 Detective Choshiro Kirishima
The year is 1970. 10 years in the past. Tokyo Police Officer Choshiro Kirishima is after a pedrophile Doctor that kidnapped several little girls and performed illegal operations on them, resulting in their deaths. This Doctor flees the mainland and goes into hiding in Rogetsu Isle. The Tokyo Police Department, in all their wisdom, decide not to pursue the criminal because the island is outside their jurisdiction, plus they're too lazy to get off their desks. Choshiro calls them a bunch of pussycats, says F it and that he'll do everything himself. And so he launches a one-man manhunt for the Doctor that butchered innocent children for no good reason. After arriving on Rogetsu Isle, Choshiro gets sidetracked and decides to watch the Kagura Festival that takes place every 10 years. While enjoying himself, he suddenly sees people being brutally assaulted, their faces being torn apart. Choshiro thinks the Pedro Doctor has something to do with all of these, but the fighting got too intense that he had to retreat back to the mainland, and so he failed the Manhunt. He quit the force shortly after.
Back to the present day. The year is 1980. Choshiro Kirishima has been working as a Private Detective ever since he quit being a cop. He receives a call from Sayaka Minazuki. Sayaka hires Choshiro to go back to Rogetsu Isle and look for her daughter Ruka Minazuki as she has been missing for several days now. Obviously Sayaka gives 0 F's about Ruka's friends Madoka Tsukimori and Misaki Aso as Sayaka never mentions the other two girls to the Private Investigator. Choshiro agrees and heads for the island ASAP as he hasn't forgotten his failures as a Police Officer. As soon as he steps foot on the island, the surviving locals arm themselves with melee weapons and show the ex-cop that he's not welcome on the island. But the jokes on them as Choshiro brings his Shotgun Flashlight with him. Choshiro isn't a Police Officer anymore, so he'll be shooting first then asking the locals' body parts some questions after. Oh yes. Let's begin the investigation.
