Today we cautiously avoided the mountain pass—worried we might lock ourselves out of unfinished story beats—and instead descended into the Underdark. There, we recovered Baelen Bonecloak for his grieving wife and dealt with a roving band of hostile duergar tormenting the peaceful myconid colony. After earning the trust of Sovereign Spaw, we briefly allied with Sovereign Glut… only to be forced into conflict when they went full megalomaniac. Tough decisions, big consequences, and mushrooms with a taste for power.
