In Darkstalkers 3 (that's the PS1 version of Vampire Savior, you know--played here on a PS2), checking out the eight colors--mapped neatly to the game's six attack buttons, plus one from picking a character by hitting all three punches at once, and one from all three kicks--and the special moves of Lilith, then playing through the game with her on the default 2/8 difficulty:

I did not expect that final fight and end story. : o Neat! Also it was nice to figure out how the colors and moves work (note to self: supers mostly just like EX moves: single-motion plus two P or two K, OR a sequence of buttons like eh LP,LP,f,LK,HP).

I expect most of the game's end sequences will be a little more traditional, will have to find out how I feel about those. : D
