Sub 3h A10 Pts+Lab Run on Flameblast + Armageddon Brand Hierophant. This is the second run of the Sub 3h Project for 3.22. The Sub 3h Project is a personal goal of mine to run all seven base classes in an A10 Pts+Labs run in under 3 hours. Only restrictions on this run are not using death skips, ensuring that I'm at least 58 by the time the run finishes, doing each run fresh with a migrate all, having all story skill points/story labs, and finishing the run in under 3 hours. The reason for this project is I felt like my speed running skills where slipping a little bit especially in the early acts, so setting the sub 3h time goal is to help ensure I clean up my early acts and blast hard in the second half. Overall the run went very smoothly with one death on Oversoul (Lol). The damage once you get flameblast and ignites rolling makes for a comfortable DPS setup for bosses. I opted to skip doing Library and wait to swap to Leap Slam until Act 6 and Lily because the tree early with Library really wasn't well setup for a Leap Slam swap and I felt like I wasn't benefiting much from Leaping that early given those issues. I'm really happy I was able to send this one given the poor access to movement abilities witch has as Flame Dash really isn't all that competitive with Leap Slam, Shield Charge or Whirling in terms of overall time. I was able to keep the first half time low enough to allow for the traversal speed boost in second half to get me through in under sub 3. Interesting that the pacing ended up being extremely similar to templar run I did in end, but thats likely becasue the single target consistency of elementalist with ignite to smooth out DPS downtime outpaces templar single target which is primarily hit based with Flameblast/Arma Brand. Ultimately though, I just played better in this run than I did in the Hierophant run as I was able to make up a 3.5min slower first half in the second half on the elementalist.
