oh Diddy. I'll be completely honest, I still haven't figured out a good neutral game for diddy. The 1 thing I know is to try to snag the banana when you can. But, that's easier said than done. Diddy's stupid side b that acts as both an attack and a command grab really throws you off all the time. His nair combos are really good as well.
He does a ton of chip damage until you die and ugh, its annoying.

I hate it. F Tier moveset here. No recovery and no neutral. Nothing flows together at all. And having no recovery means there is no point in trying to learn the moveset because you'll die before you do.
For all intends and purposes I should have lost this match. But I'm glad I won just for the retribution.
