This story shows the importance of preservation and is good news. Arkyology was a planned 2600 release long ago in 1983. It was finished and did not get released due to the company involved having financial issues. Only one copy of the game survived, and was graciously released to the public by one of the programmers who created it on August 31, 2018. The Atariage forum link talks more about this game. Enjoy!
