I found this glitch while attempting to get a 10 Million points game.

This glitch was triggered while deployment. I tried to get 3 yellow stripes, which gives you the most points. I do this by holding the spacebar only for a short while to launch the ball up with minimal force.

The glitch was triggered while the ball did fall down slightly to the left. Usually the ball is pushed to the left at stripe 1 and a sound plays, a text appears "Skill shot" awarding you with points. Instead it disappeared below stripe 3 and re-appeared below the violet arrow, without playing a sound, without awarding you with points and without changing the text.

Launching the ball up or exiting at stripe 1 also has the effect to start the first mission (blue arrow). The glitch prevents this from happening, leaving you without the ability to complete missions.

How did this happen?

I think that between stripe 2 and stripe 3, there is no wall on the left side. The developers probably did not expect your ball to fall down to the left and only considered the ball to fall straight down.

You might be able to trigger this glitch by using the "table bump" keys (by default n, x and up-arrow) to encurage the ball into this glitch.

Is this glitch useful?

No, I don't think so. The missions give you a ton of points (earlier missions give you half a million or more, and later missions give you 0.75 million or more points). So using this glitch is only a disadvantage.
