3D Pinball - ball clipping trough flipper
Another glitch of 3D Pinball that I knew, but until recently I did not know how to reproduce it.
If a ball has the correct speed, it can clip trough a flipper. The flipper on the other hand also has to be fast.
---
How to cause this glitch?
My setup was that I did not fully launch the ball up, but let it fall down. This has the effect that it will be pushed to the left above the first yellow stripe. I will repeatedly smash the right flipper in hope the ball will clip trough.
This glitch can also randomnly happen in a game, potentially making you loose the game.
---
The potential outcomes:
This clip can have three effects from my knowledge, but I am not 100% sure, so take this with a grain of salt.
-The ball will move with relative low speed to the upper left (shown here)
-The ball will be pushed down by flipper, loosing one round.
-The ball will fall down with lower speed (not sure what is happening)
---
Is it useful?
Not a very useful glitch, but nice to know that the ball can clip trough something. I am not sure if the ball can clip trough other walls or objects. This glitch has the unique setup of a moving ball and a moving flipper. All other walls/objects are static and it could be that the devs did a better job preventing clips for those.
