3D quad flying attempt: Vlog and narration and other stuff !
14I was going to have a look at a 3d flight controller that MicroRCFiend (https://www.youtube.com/channel/UCPZ_clofCyn-iwgt7Pje-Fg) was helping the developers with - but it looks like they stopped whatever development they were doing, so in the meantime he was kind enough to send me over the FlyColor all-in-one 4 blheli 20a escs and f3 FC. Since I already had the 3d Gemfan props, I decided to try betaflights version of 3d.

The 3d part of cleanflight isn't as well documented as it could be, but happily I got some assistance from teracis in this RCgroups thread http://www.rcgroups.com/forums/showthread.php?t=2480732&page=51
I need to have a decent tune up (although as I mention, it could be those cheap-ass motors are just rubbish). In that last crash, I'd flipped it upside down and when I pushed the throttle down it went right way up again, so I pushed the throttle up and it flipped back over... I can't win there.
