FPV Quickie: Gteng watch followup - unexpected range !
23I took the little Gteng FPV watch along to an FPV gathering as it was very useful for checking which channels were free, or had bleed through from others.
Whilst I was there I noticed it didn't seem to have any issues picking up a signal much further away than I would have given it credit for. At 1500m we had a very solid picture and a readable OSD.
Of course on 5.8, height, atmospheric conditions and someone sneezing too close can all have an effect, so this may not be typical - but it certainly exceeded my expectations of how good this would be at anything past 100m or so.
